Modern slavery statement
Our commitment to ensuring no slavery or human trafficking takes place in any part of our business or supply chain.
This statement is made on behalf of AdaptScot Limited in the spirit of section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. We are below the statutory turnover threshold but choose to publish a voluntary statement.
Our business
AdaptScot designs and installs home accessibility adaptations in Edinburgh and across Scotland. Our supply chain includes building-product manufacturers, equipment suppliers and a small panel of vetted trade sub-contractors.
Our controls
- All trade partners are UK-registered, insured and subject to right-to-work checks.
- We do not engage labour-only suppliers without documented PAYE or CIS status.
- Equipment suppliers must confirm their own modern slavery policy on request.
- Concerns can be raised under our whistleblowing route below.
Whistleblowing
Anyone — staff, sub-contractor or member of the public — can confidentially raise a concern about modern slavery or labour exploitation by emailing whistleblow@adaptscot.co.uk. Reports are reviewed by a director and protected under the Public Interest Disclosure Act 1998.
Statement reviewed annually.
